And so do three friends from Boston who recently decided the best thing to swipe left or right on wasn't a series of potential dating prospects, but rather beautiful photos of foodies. They're the creators of a new app called Tender, where disappointment is low and you never have to go on an awkward first date. Available free for iPhone and Android, Tender takes the basic functionality of Tinder and applies it to food—or, more accurately, recipes. Swipe right for "bacon jam" or left for "tasty slow cooker mayonnaise.
