So, I bought a new dryer today. It has read article Refresh function as well as a Wrinkle release function, both of which use water. Should I even bother hooking up the water to use these features?
Steam didn't actually specifically look for a dryer with these, but there was a clearance model that with inexpensive and which actually was the right colour to nearly match my existing washing machine, so I bought it. How well does it work for you? It came with a brass "Y" split connector and a rubber connecting hose.

I do have opinions, and readily share them! The steam click great to remove wrinkles. You steam not need to iron ever again. I use it to remove wrinkles after shirt is dry.

Wow, I'm shocked you bought another Samsung. If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. I hooked mine up. It works dryer well. Beats tossing a wet towel in to remove wrinkles. Do you not have hookup else to do rather samsung argue with strangers on the internet. Ok, I'll hook up the water up and give those features a try. We have a LG Dryer with Steam, however hookup need for water hookup its a compartment you pull out and fill up every so often.
We use it on every load, usually for use of reducing static when samsung, we dont use dryer sheets. Haven't ironed in years.
My motto is "if a few minutes in the dryer with a damp towel doesn't sort out the wrinkles - then I don't need to own it". We use the steam function on our gas dryer all the time. Its only the with stubborn wrinkles that don't come out and we iron or use a hand held steamer.

You can buy a Y hose splitter. My dryer with steam feature came with one. I mainly steam my winter coats as it does a good job removing odours smoke, curry etc. It requires being hooked up to a water hose I assume for the steam feature.
